Having now garnered a reputation as time code specialists, we were approached by our good friend Gardna to kickstart a brand new AV show journey, 'Time to Move'. 2024 would see the G Man go from a headline show at Marble Factory, to main stage at Love Saves The Day Festival, onto a 30,000 strong crowd on the mighty Origin stage at Boomtown.
Working alongside Luke and the incredbly talented motion designer Toby, together we built 'Time to Move' from the ground up - utilising a large collection of beautiful, bespoke, individually-animated icons, logos and intricatly crafted lyric animations.

In a departure from the styles we had been working with at the time, it was great to get our teeth stuck into a project that had such a different feel and so many different individual assets.
This allowed us to get really creative with their placement - working with a grid of slices in Resolume, with various combinations mapped to piano toggles on our controller, we were able to chop seamlessly between a host of configurations on the fly.
Amongst the treasure trove of content at our disposal, there are a number of beautifully animated timecode moments. Using Showkontrol's SMPTE send, we synchronise the clips in Resolume with the audio played on the CDJ's.
It's been so great to see Luke's show grow from clubs to festival main stages in such a short amount of time, its a testament to his relentless hard work and enthusiasm as an artist and we couldn't be prouder to be moving with him. There's something really special about working with friends, it makes the job all the more rewarding.
Time to Move already has major bookings and takeovers locked in for 2025 and we can't wait to support Gardna on them. We just want to R.A.V.E A.S.AP. Haha. Huge amounts of love and respect to Luke for getting us involved in such a vibrant and exciting project.
